Some folks only need a photographer for a few
hours, Some need one all day. Therefore, I allow you to determine the fee, based
on the time you need me there.
Weddings= $150/hr of
attendance
The average wedding that I photograph needs me
there for roughly 4-5 hours. I typically arrive an hour before the ceremony for
separated bridal party photos, and typically stay for roughly 2-3 hours of the
reception. If you do the math, 4 hours = $600,
thousands less than most hotshots out there! What are they charging per hour, if
you break it down? Should they make more per hour than a family doctor?!?
Terms:
Non-refundable deposit of $200 required to lock in the day on my calendar (goes
towards the balance). Balance to be paid at least 7 days before the ceremony.
Minimum wedding attendance is two hours. Trip charge for Estes Park, Longmont or
Greeley of $50 (gas plus round trip time). I
take multiple payments of any size, and you can pay by credit card through my PAYPAL
account if you wish. You can mail me a check anytime, as long as the balance is
paid before the wedding day. I try to make everything as easy as possible
for all of us!
All weddings receive this
package:
1.
A DVD with all of your retouched photos in both full resolution, and email size
(two folders).
2.
Two extra copies of the disc for your folks!
3.
A copyright release word document on the disc for the lab to see.
4.
Enough photos to capture nearly all the story-telling moments of your big day.
the number varies by the duration of the wedding events, but usually anywhere
from 300 to 600! I convert some to black-and-white, some to sepia, and some are
mixed between color and sepia.
5. (Optional) I can provide a wedding album for an
additional $125, or I can show you how to make your own on Snapfish.com,
Mpix.com, or Shutterfly.Most photographers are going to take you
for a long ride on reprint fees. I give you the means to make your own, at the
lab of your choice.
The real key is quality photos at
affordable prices, done your way by an experienced photographer
(over 150 weddings). I don't come in with my own agenda- I'm here
to give you exactly what you want, and nothing less. Want a ton of formals? No
problem. Do you want only candid shots? I've done weddings that way too.
It's your day, and nothing should conflict with
that, including the photographer!
Portraits, Engagement
pictures, Pregnancy, Children in the park, Pet Photos, Lingerie, fine art = $150 per 1hr
session.
I do most portrait shoots outdoors (hey, it IS
Colorado, after all!), but I'm willing to go to your place if you have a
background in mind. There is no extra charge for
more people in the photos, so bring your family! I also allow 2 clothing changes
if you wish.
Portrait package includes retouched photos
on CD in full resolution as well as an email folder, and a bound album is
optional for an extra $75 (imagine a book shelf filled with a book for every
year!).
There are photographers out there who are
charging $4000 plus reprints! Most charge $2200 plus reprints. As you can see, I
offer you more flexibility for a whole lot less, and I sign the copy release
over to you, so you can print all you want!
